Our masonry surveys provide a detailed assessment of masonry elements with a comprehensive condition report designed to help clients make informed decisions about short to long term maintenance and repair.

We inspect façade masonry, mortar pointing, surface coatings, masonry at height and chimneys, looking for and recording evidence of stone and mortar decay, and structural defects. If we identify compromised elements of masonry that present a hazard, we will report these as an immediate priority so clients can take appropriate action. We can investigate the causes of dampness and decay and make recommendations for remedial works based on a sound knowledge of traditional construction methods and materials.
